The 2026 Anthology Festival installation along the Pasig River Esplanade frames a series of carefully selected views through openings oriented toward significant elements of its surroundings through the function of a Periscope. It highlights the Pasig River, the evolving skyline across the water, and the historic walls of Intramuros and Fort Santiago. Through these shifting perspectives, the installation encourages visitors to pause, observe, and discover the layers of the site. Rooted in the idea of Connecting with History, the Periscope creates a visual dialogue between the past and present, allowing the surrounding context to become the focus. Its minimalist form remains visually restrained, blending with the esplanade while directing attention toward the places and stories that define it.
